Liverpool battling two European giants for Dutch wonderkid and could sign him for just £200,000


LIVERPOOL have enquired about Benfica teen sensation Kyanno Lorenzo.

The 18-year-old forward has also attracted interest from Borussia Dortmund and Atalanta.

Lorenzo has six months left on his contract in Portugal and could be available for £200,000 if he sees out the remaining months of his deal.

Scouts from all three clubs have been watching Lorenzo, who has impressed with his displays for Benfica in the Uefa Youth League as well as the Netherlands Under-19s.

Lorenzo is a left-footed forward but plays mainly on the right flank.

He came through the ranks at Feyenoord and Sparta Rotterdam before signing a three-year contract with Benfica in 2024.

This comes amid reports suggesting Liverpool are open to letting youngster Jarell Quansah leave on loan in January.

Quansah made his Kop debut against Newcastle in August and has played nine matches so far with four starts coming in the Europa League and Carabao Cup.

Preston boss Ryan Lowe has watched the centre-back and is already on good terms with the Anfield chiefs after taking Calvin Ramsay on loan in the summer.

The 20-year-old has also been checked out by Leicester, who are in the market for a defender.
