The Blues U21 side are preparing to face the Ligue 1 club’s youth team in a friendly at 6pm tonight.

The match is taking place at Chelsea’s Cobham training ground and will be played behind closed doors.

Fans will be able to tune in to the clash via the Chelsea app after the club announced they will be streaming the event for £1.99.

It will be the first time the two teams have met at any level and a moment for Boehly and his Clearlake Capital investment company to take a look at their newest assets.

Boehly bought a majority stake in Strasbourg back in June of this year, just over a year after he took over Chelsea following the departure of Roman Abramovich.

The 50-year-old has been pumping the money into the London club since his arrival in 2022.

The Stamford Bridge outfit have spent over £1BILLION on transfers alone since Boehly’s arrival.

And they have twice broken the British transfer record with Enzo Fernandez (£107m) and Moises Caicedo (£115m).
