RODRIGO MUNIZ was left in tears as he was forced off with an injury against Manchester United.
The Fulham striker broke down as he was replaced by Carlos Vinicius at Craven Cottage.
Muniz twice went down during the second half before being helped off the pitch by Fulham’s medical staff.
He was visibly emotional as he left the action, choking up and crying as the home fans applauded him.
The Brazilian had been a threat for the Cottagers, causing Harry Maguire and Jonny Evans problems throughout the afternoon.
An early clash of heads with Maguire just minutes into the match had left the defender requiring treatment.

The pair later battled inside the area as Fulham pushed for an opening goal against their laboured opponents.
Maguire could be seen consoling Muniz as he burst out crying, with the forward lifting his shirt up to cover his face.
Muniz had been making his 36th appearance since his move to West London from Flamengo in 2021.
During his two years in England, he has scored six goals for the Cottagers, including in their Carabao Cup win at Ipswich on Wednesday.

That strike was his first of the season, with Marco Silva rewarding the 22-year-old with his maiden league start this term.
Muniz has been tipped as a replacement for Aleksandar Mitrovic following his move to Saudi Arabia, having returned from a loan spell with Middlesbrough in the summer.
