JAKE PAUL faces a delay in announcing his next fight after his scheduled opponent was denied a US visa.
The YouTuber-turned prizefighter returns on December 15 and teased that it would be against a professional boxer.
And his business partner Nikisa Bidarian revealed Paul was due to face a 7-1 opponent until the visa issue struck.
Bidarian said: “Just regarding Friday, December 15, there was a plan to announce Jake Paul’s opponent for that evening.
“Unfortunately, the opponent, which was a 7-1 boxer, has not been able to obtain a visa to come to the US.
“So we’re currently reviewing alternative options for his opponent, but the plan is to try to announce it within the next two weeks.”

Paul, 26, suffered defeat for the first time in February after losing a split-decision to Tommy Fury, 24, in Saudi Arabia.
It was the first time the American had stepped up to face an opponent with prior pro boxing experience.
Paul snubbed a rematch with Fury to instead return with victory over ten rounds against ex-UFC star Nate Diaz, 38, in August.
Fury went onto KSI, 30, in a controversial points victory which Paul was ringside for and subsequently called both out.

“But knowing where I’m going, my improvement, my new team that I have, my new mindset, and elevating every day in the boxing ring.
