Why are Sky Sports not showing a 2pm game on Super Sunday
Manchester United’s match against Sheffield United was brought a day forward due to the Red Devils’ Champions League commitments.
United were initially set to play on Super Sunday, but Erik ten Hag’s men have been pencilled in to face FC Copenhagen in their Champions League group encounter on Tuesday.
Premier League teams cannot play on Sunday and then the following Tuesday in Europe.
It’s the second time this season that United have had to play on a late Saturday night slot, with the Red Devils winning on both occasions.
