WALES are set to review Robert Page’s position as manager next month if they do not qualify for Euro 2024 automatically.
Page is under contract until 2026 but needs to win Sunday’s crunch Group D clash at home to Croatia in Cardiff to keep the hopes of a top-two finish alive.
Wales are currently fourth in the group but Turkey’s shock 1-0 win in Croatia on Thursday has made Page’s task even more harder.
The Dragons are level with Armenia, three points behind Croatia and six adrift of Turkey in their bid to book a spot in the Germany finals next summer.
Page is determined to carry on in his job and his men are three games unbeaten following the 4-0 friendly win over Gibraltar on Wednesday night.
But Football Association of Wales chief executive Noel Mooney said: “Every camp is reviewed and we will have a more serious review I suppose after the Armenia and Turkey games as then everything will be settled.

“We will know if we have achieved what we set out to do, which was to qualify automatically.”
Wales were drawn in a favourable Euros group and claimed a credible 1-1 draw in Croatia back in March.
Page’s men looked confident to finish in the top two following the home 1-0 win over Latvia.
But a nightmare June saw them suffer 4-2 home defeat to Armenia before a 2-0 loss in Turkey followed.

A 2-0 victory over Latvia after a goalless friendly draw with South Korea eased some of the pressure on Page, who signed a four-year deal before the World Cup last year.
Mooney has previously backed Page but SunSport understands privately he has been preparing for a switch in the dugout.
Wales, who could still qualify for the Euros through the play-offs next March due to their Nations League record under Page, have limited finances to make a managerial change.
Mooney added: “We are not one of the football clubs who keep changing things all the time, kneejerk stuff.
“That is not us. We are a very warm welcoming organisation.
“But I caveat that by saying that we have to keep going forward and we have to keep winning matches, we can’t keep losing matches.
“We are very focused on winning games, qualifying for tournaments and that we what we need to see in Wales. We can’t go backwards.”
