CHELSEA’S £62million outcast Marc Cucurella is eyeing a January exit to end his Stamford Bridge woes.

The Spanish defender has not played a single minute in the Premier League this season — with his only appearance coming against Wimbledon in the Carabao Cup.

Fed-up Cucurella will likely be recalled for tomorrow’s third-round tie at home to Brighton, who he left to join the Blues last year.

But unless he gets more Premier League game time he is ready to call it quits.

The player has held talks with Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino about his future.

But the Spanish full-back remains uncertain of how much he will play.

After a troubled year on a professional and personal level, the defender is now weighing up his options.

Cucurella, 25, could move back to Spain if it means more first-team action despite being happy in London.

His house was burgled last season, which made settling in a new city more difficult and added to his on-pitch problems.

Spanish giants Real Madrid are quietly monitoring his situation with a view to a possible loan as cover for the second half of the season.

Cucurella’s fellow countryman and former Chelsea team-mate Kepa Arrizabalaga is already there on a year-long deal in the absence of injured keeper Thibaut Courtois.
