Arsenal fans fume over ‘weird’ ruled-out goal as Gary Neville says ‘even I’m confused’ and calls it ‘guesswork’

ARSENAL fans were left fuming over Gabriel Martinelli’s “weird” ruled-out goal.

And even Gary Neville was left saying “I’m confused”, calling the decision to overturn the strike “guesswork.”

Fans were left confused over Gabriel Martinelli’s disallowed goal against Everton

Arsenal travelled to Goodison Park on Sunday looking to keep pace with Premier League leaders Man City.

They got off to a flying start when Martinelli tucked the ball home with less than 20 minutes on the clock.

However, VAR had other ideas as it quickly interjected.

Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah got a touch on the ball during the build-up while running back from Everton’s box.

VAR chiefs took their time as they drew up lines.

And the strike was disallowed due to Nketiah being deemed offside.
