Keane broke cover this morning as he emerged for a walk with his two dogs.

The United legend, wearing a white t-shirt and baggy grey shorts, used a black jumper to cover his face as he walked along a residential road.

It comes after his Sky Sports colleague Micah Richards was seen pinning a man against a wall as footage of the altercation emerged last night.

Both pundits are said to have been left shaken following the incident.

Sky are now beefing up their security moving forward, Sun Sport understands.

Keane and Richards had been waiting by a lift as they made their way pitchside as the match came to a close.

But both tried to return to the Sky studio after Alejandro Garnacho had a goal ruled out for offside.

The pair were eventually escorted away by security, where they were both able to give their post-match analysis for Sky.

Arsenal are cooperating with authorities with the investigation underway.

A club spokesperson added: “We are aware of an incident that took place during our match against Manchester United on Sunday.

“The Metropolitan Police is conducting an investigation into the matter and we are fully cooperating with their enquiries.”

A spokesperson for Sky Sports said: “We understand the police are investigating an alleged assault by a member of the public immediately preceding the footage circulating on social media.

“In the footage seen, Micah Richards was acting to defuse a situation.”

A Met Police spokesman confirmed the force has launched an investigation.

A statement read: “Police are investigating following an assault that is alleged to have occurred at the Emirates Stadium during an Arsenal v Manchester United match on Sunday, 3 September.

“There have been no arrests. Inquiries are ongoing.”
