Tanganga is one of several Spurs players still expected to leave the club before the end of the summer window.

He was not included in Ange Postecoglou’s matchday squad for the trip to Brentford last weekend.

According to The Athletic, the 24-year-old is now the subject of interest from Luton.

The Hatters are said to have made enquiries about signing Tanganga on loan, with talks still at an early stage.

Galatasaray and Inter Milan are also interested, whilst Spurs are understood to prefer a permanent deal.

Luton have already made ten signings this summer, most recently adding Tim Krul to their squad from Norwich.

Former England international Ross Barkley has also joined the club in a shock deal after leaving Nice.

Despite the new signings, Rob Edwards’ side were beaten 4-1 by Brighton in their opening match last weekend.

As for Tanganga, he has made 50 appearances for Spurs since making his debut in 2019.

The defender still has two years left on his contract but faces strong competition for places this season.

Dutch centre-back Micky van de Ven is among Spurs’ six summer signings under Postecoglou.
