MAURICIO POCHETTINO is expected to put his Chelsea players through a savage fitness camp ahead of the new season.
The newly appointed Blues boss is known for pushing his players to the limit and this campaign will be no different.
According to the Evening Standard, Pochettino is planning to put his players’ fitness to the test in pre-season.
It’s reported he will be making them endure a “gruelling two-week fitness regime” at Chelsea’s Cobham training ground.
The London club has a lot of work to do under the Argentine after a shocking campaign last season in which they finished 12th in the Premier League.
Pochettino’s fitness regime was recalled by a former player recently after he was given the job at Stamford Bridge.

He said: “One session went on for an hour and 15 minutes – a continuous half, it didn’t stop.
“I remember Morgan Schneiderlin sitting on the floor next to me after he’d tracked a run, saying, ‘F***ing hell, I think I’m going to die!’ Then he just got up and ran again.”
Pochettino is due to officially take charge of Chelsea on July 1 and will have a few weeks to get to know his team before they jet off stateside to begin their pre-season tour.
