FORMER Manchester United star Luke Chadwick once got kicked out of a car because he “absolutely stank”.
The former wonderkid was highly-rated at Old Trafford, and even shared car rides with Roy Keane during his time there.
As he came up through the ranks, Sir Alex Ferguson sent him out to Royal Antwerp to gain valuable experience on loan.
His lack of chef skills at the time led to more than one dodgy stomach.
And on one lift to training with team-mate Sandro da Silva, seven years his senior, Chadwick got into a sticky situation.
Recounting the experience on TikTok, Chadwick, now 42, laughed as he said: “I’ve carpooled with Roy Keane before but probably the scariest carpool I’ve been in was when I was on loan at Royal Antwerp.

“There was a guy that I played with, fantastic player, Brazilian called Sandro da Silva.
“And he used to pick me up from a flat, take me training.
“It was the first time I’d lived away from home and I wasn’t a great cook and my guts were in absolute turmoil.
“Anyway Sandro came and picked me up, we were on our way to the training ground and I had a real pain in my stomach.

“And I just couldn’t hold it in and it absolutely stank.
“Sandro turned to me with a look of absolute disgust on his face, he was so angry – pulled the car to the side of the road, leaned over me and told me to get out the car.”
Chadwick made 38 first team appearances in total for United, scoring twice and laying on five assists before leaving permanently for West Ham in 2004.
He went on to have stints with Stoke, Norwich, MK Dons and Cambridge before hanging up his boots and moving into coaching.
