Man Utd icon John O’Shea stars in hilarious ‘Nutmeg’ ad for Uber Eats as fans call it ‘best thing you’ll ever watch’

JOHN O’SHEA and Shay Given hilariously got together to mark 20 years since the ex-Manchester United star nutmegged Luis Figo.

On this week in 2003, O’Shea lined up against a fearsome Real Madrid front line including the likes of Ronaldo.

Despite the array of attacking talent on the pitch, it was a moment of class by O’Shea that got fans’ bums off seats.

Having received a Paul Scholes diagonal, O’Shea chested the ball down before taking on Figo.

Incredibly, the Irishman managed to nutmeg the Portuguese icon.

Linking up with Just Eat, O’Shea and former Ireland pal Given came together to make a mockumentary about the incredible moment of skill.

Discussing his silky moment, O’Shea said: “I’m not saying he [Luis Figo] wasn’t a threat, I respected his game.

“I looked across the tunnel, could have been a look of respect, no look back – alright, that’s how it’s going to be. That’s all I needed.

“I was ready to kill. I took that personally.”

O’Shea then cracked up laughing as he relived the moment.

He then continued: “No look, we’re too far.

“It was three and a half seconds of my life, get over it will you, please! What a script though!”

Fans on social media lapped up the hilarious parody.

One tweeted: “This might be the best thing I’ve ever watched.”

While a second commented: “Well done. Absolutely hilarious.”

A third gushed: “Lol magical stuff lads.”

And another added: “That is absolutely brilliant!”
