CHELSEA look set to save some serious cash in their bid to land Mauricio Pochettino as their new manager.
Pochettino has been out of a job ever since being sacked by Paris Saint-Germain in June and is the frontrunner to become Graham Potter’s permanent successor.
According to the Telegraph, the Argentinean tactician is not using a representative to negotiate his deal with the Blues, which means owner Todd Boehly won’t have to pay any agent fees.
The ex-Tottenham boss hasn’t hired any reps and is leading talks alongside his assistant Jesus Perez.
However, the final draft will be checked by a lawyer of Pochettino’s choosing.
The former Southampton boss will personally negotiate the length and value of his deal and thus Chelsea are set to save a huge amount in this appointment.

A deal between the two parties could be finalised by the end of the week or early next week.
Pochettino is expected to take over alongside his assistant Perez and three other members of his coaching staff.
That includes Miguel D’Agostino, Toni Jimenez and his own son Sebastiano Pochettino.
The former PSG boss is expected to have a strong hand in negotiations after Chelsea’s fifth successive defeat across all competitions.
