ITALY football star Ciro Immobile has been taken to hospital after a tram crashed into his car.
The Lazio captain, 33, was driving with his kids in Rome when the horror collision happened on Sunday morning.
Shocking pictures show the front Immobile’s Land Rover SUV completely destroyed following the crash close to the Stadio Olimpico, Lazio’s home ground.
He was taken to hospital but is understood to not be badly injured.
According to local media, he was travelling with his two daughters.
Immobile told AGTW at the scene: “The tram ran a red light.

“Luckily I’m fine, my arm just hurts a little.”
Immobile captains Serie A club Lazio and made his debut for Italy’s national team in 2014.
He started out his career at Sorrento before joining Juventus in 2009 before completing stints at Torino, Borussia Dortmund and Sevilla.
The forward moved to Lazio and bagged the European Golden Shoe for the 2019-20 season – given to the top scorer in Europe.

Immobile is Lazio’s all-time highest goalscorer and on Friday netted the ball from the penalty spot in the club’s 3-1 win over Spezia on Friday evening.
He was part of the Italian national team who scooped the UEFA European Championships title in 2020.
He has three children with wife Jessica Melena – two daughters and a son.
It is not clear how many of them were travelling in the car with him at the time of the crash.
Police are investigating the incident.
