CRISTIANO RONALDO’S free-kick goals were nothing more than “pure luck.”
That’s according to Sergio Aguero, who reckons the likes of Lionel Messi, Raul and Karim Benzema have scored better goals in their careers.
Man City legend Aguero made the stunning claims while streaming live on Twitch to thousands of followers.
The former Argentina striker watched a lengthy video of Ronaldo and Messi’s greatest goals while on air.
And as Ronaldo scored several of his trademark free-kicks, Aguero piled in by rubbishing each and every one of them.
He said: “See, look where he scores from. Come on, all the free-kick goals are pure luck.

“Messi’s are all at the angle. I think Raul has better goals and that Benzema also has better goals.”
At the end of the video, Aguero then blasted Ronaldo for having scored so many free-kicks while pointing to the endless clips of Messi dribbling past defenders.
He declared: “How many free-kick goals were shown? Out of the top 20, Ronaldo’s 15 were free-kicks.
“In Messi’s top 20 goals, in 15 of them he dribbled past five players.”

Aguero ended his rant by saying that Ronaldo’s Puskas-winning 35-metre goal against Porto in 2009 was also lucky.
He said: “There was a mistake by the goalkeeper.”
Throughout his career, Al-Nassr star Ronaldo has scored 59 free-kicks.
Incredibly, Paris Saint-Germain ace Messi has more with 61 successful set-piece efforts.
