Supercomputer predicts final 2022/23 season table after weekend drama – but are Arsenal still favourites in title race?


EVERYTHING is very much still to play for following another thrilling weekend of Premier League action.

Arsenal’s 1-0 win over Leicester extended their lead at the top of the table to five points, before Manchester City reduced it back to two within a matter of hours after a 4-1 victory over Bournemouth.

Tottenham took full advantage of top four rivals Newcastle’s Carabao Cup commitments as they opened up a four-point lead over them in the race for the Champions League.

Spurs beat Chelsea 2-0 to solidify fourth place as Fulham and Liverpool both lost ground.

And down at the bottom, West Ham climbed out of the relegation zone with a 4-0 win over Nottingham Forest as Everton dropped back down into the bottom three.

But how will the table look come the end of the season?

How the supercomputer sees the final Premier League table

Well, bettingexpert’s supercomputer has given us a clearer insight around the final standings.

And it’s good news for the Gunners as they are projected to win their first title in 19 years.

Mikel Arteta’s men are predicted to finish four points ahead of defending champions Man City.

Meanwhile, the race for the top four is set to go down to the wire as Newcastle and Tottenham battle it out.

But the Toon’s two games in hand could end up proving crucial as the supercomputer has them pipping Spurs by a single point.

At the bottom of the table things are also set to get very tight as we head into the final few months of the campaign.

And with just six points separating 12th and 19th, it could be any three teams which drop into the dreaded relegation zone.

But the supercomputer has had its say… and it is picking Southampton, Bournemouth and Everton to fall into the Championship.

Wolves, Nottingham Forest and Leeds are all tipped to escape despite failing to reach 40 points.
