Logan Paul says he ‘cracked the code’ with Prime as energy drink mania sees bottles sell 500 times retail price

KSI and Logan Paul have revealed the massive profits they are making from their Prime energy drink.

Fans of the two YouTubers have flooded shops stocking the energy drink, which the pair launched last year.

Now the duo have revealed just how much they have made so far from the “hydration drink”.

Appearing on the Kyle and Jackie O radio show during a promotional tour of Australia, Logan Paul said: “Do you want the numbers? Alright.

“In one year, we cleared $110million in retail sales.

“Sorry, excuse me. $250million in retail sales and $110million gross internally.”

The pair have raked in $45million from Prime sales in January alone, despite SportBible reporting problems with distribution and stock.

New paperwork reveals that KSI saw assets in his business hit £11.9million last year.

Logan Paul added: “We definitely cracked the code.

“We hit a few really important things that are a staple marketing ploy for this generation.”

In a recent episode of Paul’s podcast, Impaulsive, KSI said: “I don’t think any brand has gone to this level so quickly.”

“I feel like we are a breath of fresh air compared to all of our competitors. We’re destroying them.”

“We’re actually part of the brand and showing this is our baby.

“We want to show the whole world that we care about this and we don’t mind entertaining the masses doing so.”

Logan Paul said: “I think we’ve created a masterclass in terms of how to market using social media.

“We’ve done a good job leveraging the people that we try and keep entertained.

“We’ve filled a niche in the market that didn’t exist, by doing the wackiest sh*t.

“We got in Prime mascots and shadow boxed.”

It comes after the duo paid for a Prime commercial to be featured during one of the Super Bowl’s many ad breaks.

Companies typically pay millions for thirty-second slots during the breaks, and it is understood that KSI and Logan Paul forked out a similar amount to promote their “hydration drink”.

Prime recently became an official sponsor of the UFC, even though lightweight Paddy Pimblett slammed its sugar content while promoting his own sports drink.

KSI and Logan Paul respectively called Pimblett “cringe” and threatened to sue him, before Prime became the MMA promotion’s Official Sports Drink.

The Super Bowl reminds American viewers of Prime’s partnership with Arsenal, who KSI has supported since he started out posting FIFA clips on YouTube.

He recently appeared in Amazon Prime’s behind-the-scenes documentary about the club, All Or Nothing, to discuss the club’s comeback under Mikel Arteta.

Fights broke out in supermarkets when Prime first launched, as fans jostled to get their hands on the drink.
