ARSENAL boss Mikel Arteta was BOOKED in the first half of Sunday’s massive Premier League clash with Manchester United after continuing his touchline theatrics.
The animated Spaniard regularly fumes in his technical box when decisions aren’t going his team’s way.
His touchline antics have been heavily criticised but Arteta has defiantly refused to tone it down.
And in Sunday’s all-important clash with Man Utd, Arteta was contesting every decision.
After Luke Shaw pushed over Gunners No7 Bukayo Saka, Arteta got overly animated and was shown a yellow card by Anthony Taylor.
Ex-England international Matthew Upson believes Arteta is a talking point among referees.

Upson told BBC Radio 5Live: “I wonder if Arteta’s activity on the touchline has been a talking point among the referees for the last few games. I wouldn’t be surprised.
“He was unbelievable in the game against Newcastle and he went too far.
“They are trying to make a point of him needing to tone it down a bit.
“You can’t be that in the face of the officials – or anyone else, for that matter.”

Arteta saw his Arsenal team fall behind in the first half through a Marcus Rashford wonderstrike.

Eddie Nketiah did get the Gunners back on level terms shortly after, though.
The striker headed home from close range to send the game in at half-time level.
Bukayo Saka then handed Arsenal the lead shortly after the restart.
The 21-year-old sent a thumping effort low into the left corner of the goal.
But as Arsenal did to Man Utd in the first half with an instant response, the Red Devils did the same.
World Cup winner Lisandro Martinez equalised for the visitors, sending a looping headed effort over Gabriel.
Nketiah then snatched the 3-2 win and three points for Arsenal right at the death.
The striker turned in captain Martin Odegaard’s on-target strike.
Arsenal are now five points clear at the top of the Premier League with a game in hand over rivals Manchester City.
