‘Cheating’ Pique sent brutal message from Shakira fans with savage chewing gum jibe amid split row

ALLEGED love rat Gerard Pique has been taunted by Shakira fans with a savage chewing gum jibe amid their messy split.

Supporters of the Colombian pop star decided to take inspiration from the thinly veiled references in her new song jabbing her ex.

She channeled her emotions into her music and released a scathing diss track about Pique, titled Out of Your League.

Shakira split from the former Barcelona ace last summer as the Spaniard left her for Clara Chia Marti, 23.

The 45-year-old pulled no punches and brazenly took aim at the loved-up pair, comparing the relationship to swapping “a Ferrari for a [Renault] Twingo”.

Among a string of other brutal barbs, Shakira seemed to confirm rumors surrounding how she discovered Pique was allegedly cheating on her.

She reportedly returned home from a period of travelling to find a jar of strawberry jam in their fridge had been eaten.

It’s been claimed that Pique follows a strict diet and would not have tucked into the jam – and neither would her children.

The She Wolf singer is then said to have come to the conclusion that someone else – more specifically another woman – had been in her home, and her fridge.

In her explosive new track, she sings: “This is for you to be mortified, chew and swallow, swallow and chew.”

Social media sleuths claimed the lyrics were a direct jab at Clara for supposedly devouring her favourite jam.

Dedicated Shakira fans in Aguascalientes, Mexico, have now repurposed the savage reference to Pique’s alleged infidelity to help clean up the streets.

Her supporters set up an amusing advertisement sporting an image of the football star looking glum on the bench for people to dump their chewing gum on.

It again takes reference from another dig in Shakira’s song and is adorned with the words: “Splash your gum here!”

The songstress seemingly played on the Spanish pronunciation of the word “splash”, which is “sal-pique”, to directly reference her former partner.

Amused locals had already daubed the poster with several pieces of chewing gum – mostly focusing on Pique’s face.

A clip showing the ruthless poster on Twitter quickly went viral as chuckling Shakira fans applauded the taunt.

The user explained: “They put an ad so that the streets stay clean and they decided to put an ad for Piqué so that you can put your chewed gum on it and not on the street.

“Splash your gum here,” alongside a crying laughing emoji.

It comes after Pique hit back at the mother of his children’s public takedown – by turning up to work in the car she referenced in her diss track.

The Spain World Cup winner arrived at a car park filled with expensive motors in his budget motor – worth around £8,000.

In another twist Shakira put a terrifying life-size witch doll on her balcony, facing her mother-in-law’s house in the same street.

Neighbours reported she also blasted out the new song on repeat so Gerard’s mum, Montserrat Bernabéu, could hear.

The vitriolic break-up comes after a 12-year romance which began on the set of the video for Shakira’s 2010 World Cup anthem, Waka Waka (This Time for Africa).
