A FOOTBALLER and his dad punched and kneed a bouncer in the face, a court heard.
Daryl Jarvis was left with chipped teeth and bruised ribs in the attack by Bolton Wanderers ace Kyle Dempsey and dad Mick, it was said.
The pair were arrested following an altercation in Maryport, Cumbria, on July 16 last year.
Kyle, 27, of Blackpool, Lancs, and former rugby league player Michael, 50, of Maryport, appeared at Workington magistrates’ court yesterday.
Both spoke only to confirm their details.
Their solicitor entered not guilty pleas on their behalf to charges of assault causing actual bodily harm.

They were bailed to appear at Carlisle crown court next month.
