BRAZILIAN football legend Pele has been rushed to hospital in Sao Paulo.
His daughter, Kely Nasicmento, confirmed the 82-year-old has been hospitalised, with reports claiming he is suffering from swelling all over his body.
The three-time World Cup winner was taken to hospital on Tuesday by wife Marcia Aoki, 56, and a carer.
ESPN Brazil claim doctors also diagnosed Pele with “decompensated heart failure”.
Pele has been battling cancer but it’s thought treatment he has been having hasn’t been successful.
It’s reported he has not responded to chemotherapy.

More tests have been carried out today on Pele, who is struggling to feed himself.
Elsewhere, he was diagnosed with mental confusion after reports claimed he was restless after arriving at Albert Einstein hospital in Sao Paulo.
He has been in and out of hospital in recent months after having surgery to remove a tumour from his colon last year.
Doctors are not thought to have put a time frame on when he can be discharged.

Pele’s daughter Kely took to Instagram on Wednesday afternoon to say his admission was not an emergency.
Sharing an update on her father’s health, she wrote: “My father is hospitalised, he is regulating his medication.”
Kely added: “I’m not jumping on a flight to run there.
“My brothers are in Brazil visiting and I’m going on New Year’s Eve. There are no surprises or emergencies.”
Pele is widely recognised as one of the greatest footballers of all time.
Records credit him with 1,281 goals in 1,363 professional appearances.
He bagged 77 goals in 92 games for Brazil, helping them to World Cup glory in 1958, 1962 and 1970.
