Liam, 25, from Norwich, Norfolk finds it “funny” that he is always mistaken for Manchester City ace Jack Grealish and says he likes “playing along”.

Since England’s run to the final of Euro 2020, he has found himself bombarded with adoring fans who think he is the Premier League playmaker.

He said: “I’ve always had my hair similar to how Jack has his hair.

“People started to mistake us when he became more well known the football world.

“I get kids running up to me and asking if I’m Jack Grealish. People in restaurants seem to be nicer to me when they think I’m him.”

Liam admitted that his girlfriend hates the extra attention they get as she finds it “cringy” but said he doesn’t brag about it.

He added: “If I can put a smile on someone’s face then that’s great.

“I don’t see the resemblance myself really but in some photos and angles I can see the similarities.”

In one of the worst cases of mistaken identity he’s had, Liam was confused with Grealish while sitting in the stands at a Norwich City match.

This was despite the fact that the footie star was playing in the game at the time.

He joked: “Jack will be in Qatar but it would be funny to see what people think.”
