AWAY days can sometimes require long journeys but one team have travelled over 10,000 miles to the South Pacific for a match.
French fourth division team ASM Belfort are playing AS Venus from Tahiti in the Coupe de France.
The seventh round tie sees Belfort take a 15-hour flight for a domestic game.
The team’s Instagram uploaded a collection of videos to show fans the lengthy journey they are making.
It shows the Lions players arriving at the airport early with their luggage before making their was through security and onto the plane.
The team travelled in economy alongside other everyday passengers.

Once the long haul flight was over the players travelled to their hotel on the coach and were welcomed being handed a Hawaiian necklace mad of flowers to fit their tropical setting.
The following day the players visited a local market and danced to some native cultural music before they were back to work in team meetings and training.
ASM Belfort are seventh in the FFA Group B table, meanwhile AS Venus are second in the Tahiti Ligue 1.
They get the chance to compete in the Coupe de France as the land is owned by France.

If AS Venus can win then there is a chance a Ligue 1 side may have to take the 30-hour round trip because top sides enter from the next round of the competition.
Tahiti is part of the French Polynesia islands located in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, north east of New Zealand.
It is known for it’s tropical look, lagoons, volcanoes and black sandy beaches.
