Fans all say the same thing as they laugh at pasty Erling Haaland after Man City post snaps from swimming pool session

ERLING HAALAND has been hasty to shine in the Prem and tasty in front of goal – but is too pasty for some in the swimming pool.

The Norwegian has made every other striker look pale by comparison – until Manchester City posted these snaps of a team recovery session.

Haaland shocked fans with the whiteness of his face and body as he rested in a pool with a beaming smile on his face.

But it looks like his sunny outlook after a brilliant start to life in England has not been matched by trips to the beach.

Haaland’s light complexion contrasted to the bronzed look of team-mates who were pictured during stretching exercises.

And as social media reacted with surprise, one observer joked: “Kept on wiping it, thought it was my screen.”

Another said: “I thought I had sensitive media turned off.”

Haaland was also labelled “Iceman” – while one fan posted an image of a man dazzled by bright white light.

But the 22-year-old’s perfect physique was also noted – one reason why he has dominated the Prem scoring charts.

The pale pics come 24 hours after he sparked fears over a possible foot injury, plus worries he is tired or possibly even has a fever.

Haaland was remarkably subdued by his standards as City drew 0-0 at his old club Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League.

Phil Foden also has plenty to smile about after his own sensational start to the season for Man City and England

But Etihad boss Pep Guardiola believes Haaland can top up his colour and then top off his season in style – if he behaves well on a mid-term break.

Guardiola said: “He will be in Marbella, for sure, and Norway.

“How perfect he’ll be in the second half of the season depends on how he behaves in Marbella.

“I’m sure he’d love to be at the World Cup with Norway and hopefully he will be at the next tournament.

“But he has a house in Marbella and he will go there.

“He will play golf, hopefully not eat and drink too much and come back in great shape for the second half of the league.”
