LEICESTER gave Wolves a lesson in the art of clinical finishing as Brendan Rodgers side won for the first time on the road this season.
Incredibly Leicester scored four goals from just five shots – compared to Wolves’ 21 as they underlined why the Molineux side are the nation’s most feeble finishers with just three home goals to celebrate this season!
No wonder their fans turned toxic long before the end as they vented their fury at Technical Director Scott Sellars, rather than chairman Jeff Shi.
“Scott Sellars, get out of our club,” they demanded, followed by “We want Sellars out,” as they booed their side off after their fifth defeat in six games.
Wolves emergency signing Diego Costa worked his tail off but has yet to get off the mark for a club which has managed a mere five goals in 12 games.
This could have billed this as the stick or twist derby between two of the Prem’s basement dwellers.

With Leicester 2-0 up inside 20 minutes through Youri Tielemans’ wonder strike and Harvey Barnes’ clinical finish, the travelling Foxes fans targeted Davis.

But Rodgers’ men look far more resilient now and having kept three clean sheets in their last three home games, they refused to buckle despite Wolves’ blitz.
In-form goalie Danny Ward tipped Costa’s fierce shot over while Daniel Podence had a couple of attempts blocked and Joao Moutinho fired wide as Leicester clung on grimly.
However, Jonny was booked for conceding a daft free kick for a tug at James Maddison and how the visitors made him pay.
Maddison, fresh following a one-match suspension, delivered deep into the box and when it was headed out Tielemans allowed the ball one bounce before volleying a screamer beyond Jose Sa.
The keeper could only watch as the ball cannoned in off his far post from 25 yards for a quite outrageous finish.
Costa earned a cheer from Wolves fans for removing a blue flare which had been chucked onto the pitch by celebrating Leicester fans.
But like the missile, the veteran striker was handled safely and failed to do any damage.
It wasn’t for the lack of trying as Ward raced off his line to block Matheus Nunes, Daniel Amartey threw himself in front of another Costa shot, before Bueno suffered a similar fate.
As Wolves frustration grew Max Kilman headed over from a Moutinho corner before Leicester added insult to injury by adding a second with their second attempt on goal.
Maddsion’s crossfield pass picked out Barnes who played a give and go with Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall before drilling low beyond Sa for his fourth goal of the season.
When Costa then had a back-post tap-in brilliantly blocked by James Justin and Ward saved spectacularly to deny Podence, Wolves must have realised this wasn’t to be their day.
After an hour their fans turned toxic and directed their fury at Sellars – before Leicester added a third!
Maddison took a Jamie Vardy pass and held off Adama Traore and Nathan Collins before slamming home his sixth goal of the season.

Incredibly it was the Foxes third shot which resulted in their third goal – in contrast to Wolves 20 attempts!
And it got worse for the home side when Timothy Castagne set up substitute Vardy to open his account for the season from close range to complete a rare away day victory for the visitors.
