ANDREAS PEREIRA has slammed Craig Dawson for falling “like a girl” as West Ham were awarded a penalty in their 3-1 win over Fulham.
The ex-Manchester United midfielder appeared to tackle Dawson to the ground after two warnings by referee Chris Kavanagh on Sunday.
Jarrod Bowen then scored from the spot to make it 1-1 after Pereira’s stunning solo effort.
Pereira, 26, told Yahoo Esporte: “He [referee] told me not to pull, not to have contact with [the opponent’s] shirt, and I said I was just getting in front of him, blocking, I wasn’t doing anything too much.
“The first time, he ran me over, and I didn’t say anything, I didn’t complain.
“In the second, and in the third, he sought contact and he [the referee] decided to give the penalty.
“If a guy is 90kg, I’m 70kg, he’ll run over me and fall to the ground like a girl… It’s hard to talk.”
In the second half, Fulham were left fuming by the Hammers’ second goal at the London Stadium as they were convinced Gianluca Scamacca had handled the ball.
The ball bounced up and seemingly hit his arm, before he cooly dinked it over Bernd Leno.
The Fulham goalkeeper and players all stopped playing, while Scamacca himself did not celebrate the goal.

After countless replays to check the handball, VAR awarded the goal.
Pereira added: “The second goal he didn’t even celebrate, because he knows he hit his hand.
“Afterwards, the replay was shown on the screen, everyone saw that it was hand, it was very difficult.
“There were still several moments when he could have missed our team, and he didn’t. It felt like we were climbing a mountain.
“It was difficult for us in the second half, we couldn’t play well anymore, and they found the other goals. There are days that feel like night-time.”
