TOTTENHAM have confirmed their Champions League clash with Sporting Lisbon is on after their official website wrongly told fans the game had been postponed.
The club have been forced to apologise for the “technical error” that had left supporters who had booked planes to Portugal panicking.
Spurs face the Portuguese side on Tuesday in the Champions League.
Eagle-eyed supporters had spotted their website had been claiming the game was off just 48 hours before kick-off.

As suspected the announcement was a “technical error” and Tottenham have confirmed the match is going ahead as planned.
