FORMER Manchester United striker Louis Saha believes new boy Casemiro may have to face a spell on the sidelines while Scott McTominay continues to impress in midfield.
Casemiro, 30, joined the Red Devils in a huge £70million transfer from Real Madrid last month.
But he has been limited to just three appearances off the bench following his arrival.
And according to Saha, he may have to settle for a stint as a substitute with Christian Eriksen and McTominay both in fine form.
When speaking to Compare.bet, he said: “It’s important to know as a player at Manchester United that no matter who you are you have to work hard to play, and Scott is playing really well.
“He has youth on his side and he’s done well. I do think that Casemiro’s experience will help him and the squad. I’m sure about that.

“It’s a very long season and there will be injuries and resting, players will dip in and out of form, so everyone in the squad has to be ready.
“And this squad for Manchester United is amazing.”
Casemiro moved out of the Lowry hotel on Wednesday before setting off to his new home in Manchester.
He had been living there with his wife Anna Mariana since joining Man Utd during the summer transfer window.

The midfielder came to England following United’s back-to-back defeats to Brighton and Brentford last month.
He could make his first start for the club tonight when the Red Devils host Real Sociedad in the Europa League.
Man Utd have won each of their last three Premier League games following Casemiro’s arrival.
New boss Erik ten Hag also acquired the services of Eriksen, Tyrell Malacia, Lisandro Martinez, Martin Dubravka and £85.5m man Antony this summer to aid his Old Trafford rebuild.
