NEWCASTLE fans mocked Jack Grealish after he was left out of Manchester City’s matchday squad at St. James’ Park.
The England international, 26, picked up a knock against Bournemouth and was not fit enough to play a part against Toon.
But that did not prevent Newcastle fans poking fun at the winger – claiming he bottled the chance to play against Miguel Almiron.
Grealish previously made fun of the Paraguayan during City’s Premier League title celebrations in May.
He joked with Riyad Mahrez, suggesting he was taken off against Aston Villa in the last game of the season because he “played like Almiron.”
But Magpies boss Eddie Howe is confident Almiron and his team-mates will not be affected by Grealish’s comment.

He said: “I haven’t broached it with Miggy, I don’t think it’s something we really need to discuss.
“I see a very happy person who is in a really good place.
“I don’t see someone who needs extra motivation.”
The same could not be said of Newcastle supporters who have not forgotten the remark and responded by ridiculing Grealish.

One fan said of the winger: “Grealish bottling it from Almiron?”
Another added: “Wait. So you’re telling me Grealish dunked on Almiron for no reason last season and he’s ducking the that battle today? Yikes.”
And a third said: “Grealish not in the squad, panic stricken he was gonna get snapped by Big Joe after his Almiron comment.”
