GABRIEL JESUS put on a masterclass with two goals and two assists in an early contender for match of the season.
The Brazilian striker clipped in a superb opener over Danny Ward and made it 2-0 by heading in at the back post from a corner.
In truth, he and Arsenal could have had four by the break but he was twice denied by smart Ward stops.
Leicester, who had a penalty given then chalked off by VAR, were given a lifeline when William Saliba headed into his own goal.
But moments later, Ward gift-wrapped the Gunners’ third when he dropped a cross at the feet of Jesus, who tapped across for Granit Xhaka to roll in.
James Maddison gave Leicester another glimmer of hope 15 minutes from time.
But again, seconds after the restart, Arsenal restored their two-goal lead as Gabriel Martinelli’s sweet hit kissed the post on its way past the Welsh No1.
