NIGEL BENN has appeared to CONFIRM his son Conor’s sensational fight with Chris Eubank Jr.
As revealed by SunSport, the bout is close to being agreed for October 8 at London’s O2 Arena.

Conor, 25, has never fought above the 10st 7lb welterweight limit.

It has turned his attention to a blockbuster fight for the ages against Benn.
Eubank Sr first beat Conor’s dad Nigel in 1990 before they drew in their 1993 rematch.
Former two-weight champion Nigel added further speculation after giving the green light for his son to fight Eubank when speaking to SunSport.
He told the legendary Colin Hart: “I have no fears about Conor going in with Eubank’s lad. In fact I welcome it.
“I know the old adage of a good big ‘un beating a good little ‘un but that’s an old-fashioned view.
“I moved up from middleweight and won a super-middleweight world title and Chris Jr’s dad did the same.
“Manny Pacquiao became a world champion in eight weight divisions from flyweight to welterweight, and Canelo Alvarez started out at welterweight and was world light-heavyweight champion.”
