ARSENAL are preparing an opening bid for top target Gabriel Jesus.
Man City are reportedly ready to sell the Brazilian for a fee of around £50m following their signing of Erling Haaland.
The Gunners are also said to be leading the race for Napoli’s Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen.
And they are on the verge of signing Brazilian youngster Marquinhos.
The 19-year-old Sao Paulo winger (not to be confused with the PSG centre-back) is out of contract this year and the Gunners are preparing the paperwork to complete the deal.
It has also been claimed that Paulo Dybala will be willing to earn his living at the Emirates should Arsenal qualify for the Champions League.

Arsenal close to Marquinhos
Arsenal reportedly look set to land young Brazilian star Marquinhos for a cut price of £3million following a legal issue.
The 19-year-old forward, who currently plays for Sao Paulo, was thought to be tied down to a five-year deal at his current club – a contract he signed in 2019.
However, Fifa have now ruled that the contract is only valid for three years – the maximum length for a player signing their first professional deal.
As a result, this means Marquinhos, who has scored three goals in 15 games this season, will become a free agent in the summer.
According to Globo Esporte, Sao Paulo have attempted to negotiate a new deal but the teenager is not thought to be interested.
The report states he is keen for a move to Europe and Arsenal appear to be the frontrunners.
Arteta expecting a reaction
MIKEL ARTETA is expecting a reaction from his players, after their 3-0 defeat to Spurs on Thursday.
The Gunners are back in action on Monday against Newcastle – knowing a win will put them back into the top four in the hunt for a Champions League place.
And the Spaniard has been buoyed by what he’s seen at training since that North London defeat.
“The excitement that they’ve shown me every day,” he said.
“The way they’ve come in today with the energy that they were with today to play the game and very willing to go there and perform at the highest level.”

Arsenal are under huge pressure to win their next game after Tottenham beat Burnley this afternoon, Jamie O’Hara reckons.
O’Hara wasn’t happy with Spurs’ performance but the victory appeased the football pundit.

Merson reveals Arteta frustration
Paul Merson has revealed his frustration with Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal tactics as of late.
Merson made the admission to Sky Sports host Jeff Sterling whilst assessing the Gunners’ recent performances.
Merson ranted: “It frustrates me Jeff. He’s supposed to be a top-drawer manager.
“We all know Tottenham are one of the best teams in the world at counter-attacking football.
“They’ve drawn with Liverpool twice and done the double over Manchester City.

Roy Keane once threatened to ‘smash Cesc Fabregas in’ when the midfielder clattered into him.

Keane let Gerard Pique know just how close Fabregas was to a beating a few years later.

Arsenal agree Hickey transfer deal
Arsenal have reportedly agreed a £21 million transfer fee with Bologna to sign Aaron Hickey.
Hickey operates mainly for Bologna at left full-back and has attracted interest from the likes of Newcastle, Manchester United and Napoli in the past.
And now it seems that it is the Gunners that have won the race for the Scotland international’s signature.
That’s according to CalcioNapoli24.it, who state that a transfer fee of £21m has been agreed between the two clubs.
They claim that Bologna’s sporting director Riccardo Bigon allegedly flew to London recently for talks with the Gunners.
And those discussions led to an agreement being made for the player.
Arsenal lead Nahuel Molina race
Arsenal are reportedly leading the transfer race for Udinese defender Nahuel Molina.
Atletico Madrid and Juventus are also tracking the right-back, but the Gunners seem to be edging the European duo in the proceedings, according to Football Italia.
Arsenal star Pablo Mari is on loan with Udinese and the Gunners plan to throw him into the mix to sweeten the deal for Molina, the report added.
Petit wants four Arsenal signings
Arsenal have been urged to make four signings this summer.
And two of those recruits should be Wilfred Zaha and Allan Saint-Maximin, according to Emmanuel Petit.
He said, via the Express: “I’ve heard big names as well, Jesus, Sterling, I really like Zaha, or even someone like Saint-Maximin from Newcastle.
“Martinelli is a very good player, just like Saka, but when they get injured, who’s going to play on the left and right?
“There are no options, they need at least four players, at least two up front.”
Man United’s part-exchange plan
Man United are reportedly hoping to use Anthony Martial in a part-exchange deal with Napoli’s Victor Osimhen.
Napoli have already rejected an offer from the Red Devils for Osimhen.
