Inter Milan 3 Roma 1: Jose Mourinho’s side battered ahead of Leicester clash as hosts return to top of Serie A table

INTER MILAN returned to the top of the Serie A table in emphatic fashion after destroying Roma to win 3-1.

The hosts were in total control of the clash at the San Siro with Denzel Dumfries, Marcelo Brozovic and Lautaro Martinez all getting on the score sheet.

The Armenian star found the back of the net in the 85th minute after latching onto Eldor Shomurodov’s cut-back.

And he struck his effort first time into top right corner beyond the outstretched arms of Samir Handanovic.

That was the only real attack that Roma mustered in the encounter, as they missed out on the chance to close the gap on fourth-placed Juventus to two points.
