MASSIMILIANO ALLEGRI has confirmed that Arsenal target Arthur will not leave Juventus on loan in the winter transfer window.
The Gunners a looking to bolster their midfield options amid a series of injuries and suspensions in the middle of the park.
Thomas Partey was the latest Arsenal star to receive his marching orders.
The Ghanaian international returned from international duty in Cameroon on the day of Arsenal’s Carabao Cup semi-final second leg and was named in the squad to face Liverpool that night.
Partey got on with ten minutes to go, but quickly picked up two yellows and was subsequently sent off – which he apologised for.
Arthur was a target for the Gunners, but the chances of landing their man are looking unlikely with Allegri labelling the Brazilian a ‘important player.’
Speaking on the transfer speculation, the Juve boss said: “This is our team and we’re not gonna change anything.
“Arthur’s part of Brazil national team, he’s an important player.”
