FRESH from their 1-0 loss at league leaders Manchester City on Saturday, Chelsea return to action against Brighton.
While the Seagulls go into the game buoyed from their late equaliser to draw 1-1 with fierce rivals Crystal Palace in their last outing.
Though Blues boss Thomas Tuchel has questioned the scheduling of the game at the AMEX, and raised concerns into the clarity surrounding the Premier League Covid regulations.
Tuchel said: “I feel strongly that we need clarity and consistency in the decision-making and maybe we lack this a little bit.
“I don’t need to know all the details but maybe the fans need to know. I believe in the rules still because if I start doubting or not believing, where does this end? I get the information and I accept it. I don’t lose my energy with decisions that I have zero influence in.

“I don’t have a solution. I get asked consistently and other managers get asked but this is simply not a question for coaches. If you get asked these questions all the time, there’s obviously not enough clarity so I’m voting for clarity and consistency in the decision-making.”

What is the Brighton vs Chelsea team news?
Mason Mount is pushing for a start against Brighton after Chelsea’s disappointing 1-0 loss to Premier League champions Manchester City.
The England international managed just nine minutes of action at the Etihad, leaving him little to no time to make an impact.
But with Hakim Ziyech putting on a disasterclass from the first minute, Thomas Tuchel may be forced to drop the Moroccan and recall Mount.
Christian Pulisic faces a fight to keep his starting spot too, after being subbed with 20 minutes left to play on Saturday.
Timo Werner could be handed a rare start, to the right of Romelu Lukaku.
And with injuries to Trevoh Chalobah, Andreas Christensen and Reece James, Malang Sarr, Thiago Silva and Antonio Rudiger will keep their place protecting Kepa’s goal.
N’Golo Kante will almost certainly keep his place in the midfield after a solid performance against City.
Mateo Kovacic could also keep his spot after impressing in recent weeks.
