VICTOR LINDELOF suffered a worrying heart scare as he was helped off in Manchester United’s win over Norwich.
The defender dropped down in discomfort and had his hand on his chest when United medics rushed onto the pitch during the second half of United’s 1-0 victory at Carrow Road.
Lindelof, 27, complained of chest pains and a racing pulse after an innocuous collision.
After a few minutes he was taken off the pitch and replaced by Eric Bailly.
Keeper David de Gea said the incident sparked reminders of Christian Eriksen’s Euro 2020 collapse when the Dane suffered a cardiac arrest.
United boss Ralf Rangnick revealed: “Victor had problems to breathe and his heart rate was higher than normal. He was a little shocked.
“He can’t remember how it happened but he had a collision with another player. After the game we checked him.
Rangnick added: “It seems everything is OK but we will have to see tomorrow. Hopefully he will be fit for Tuesday against Brentford.”

Eriksen was resuscitated on the pitch after collapsing during Denmark’s opening game against Finland and survived thanks to quick action by team-mates and medics.
Former Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero was diagnosed with a cardiac arrhythmia after suffering chest pains when playing for Barcelona against Alaves.
Aguero’s future in the game remains unclear and De Gea said: “We saw some players who are feeling a bit of problems with their breathing. We saw Eriksen and Aguero.
“It is difficult to see your players acting like this and I hope he is fine. As soon I saw it was difficulty with breathing, it does not matter about the game — the main thing is to be safe.”
Soon after Lindelof exited the game, Cristiano Ronaldo, 36, converted from the spot, which was the only goal separating the sides.
It leaves caretaker boss Rangnick unbeaten in his three matches in charge since replacing sacked Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
And it is three Premier League wins on the spin for United, who climbed to fifth, level on points with fourth-placed West Ham, who have a game in hand.
