NUNO ESPIRITO SANTO’s reign at Tottenham came to an end on Monday after just four months.
The Portuguese boss was sacked after Saturday’s 3-0 drubbing by Manchester United.
Spurs were booed off the pitch by their own fans and Nuno ultimately paid the price for a shocking start to the season.
Nuno left Tottenham with the worst win rate under Daniel Levy since Juande Ramos’ poor reign in 2007-08.
Espirito Santo won just 47 per cent of his games as Tottenham manager to start the season.
That’s less than Jose Mourinho (51%), Mauricio Pochettino (54%) and Tim Sherwood (50%) managed before him.
And Tim Sherwood won 50% of his games in charge while Andre Villas-Boas had a 55% win rate.
The last Spurs boss with a win rate of less than 50% was Harry Redknapp – who won 49% of games in charge from 2008-12.

Spurs chief Levy feared a return to the early days of his reign when his side weren’t competing with rivals Arsenal and Chelsea.
Glenn Hoddle was in charge at the start of Levy’s reign in 2001 and won 39% of games.
Jacques Santini had a 38% win rate and lasted just five months in 2004, while Martin Jol won 45% of games.
Santo was put out of his Spurs misery on Monday, and was replaced by Antonio Conte.
