OLE GUNNAR SOLSKJAER reckons his Manchester United side missed Fred and Edinson Cavani in Saturday’s loss at Leicester City.
United took an early lead through Mason Greenwood, but a super goal from Youri Tielemans drew the home side level.
Caglar Soyuncu put the Foxes ahead with just over ten minutes to go.
Returning Marcus Rashford stepped up and drew Man Utd level, before Jamie Vardy and Patson Daka won the game for Leicester.
Both Fred and Cavani missed the game after playing for their respective countries, funnily enough against each other, just over 24 hours before kick-off in the Midlands.
After the loss, Solskjaer admitted his team missed the South American pair.
He said: “I have got many good players. Fred, Edinson Cavani, you miss them.
“I am not making excuses for the team I put out there, they are top footballers and we have not produced.”

The Red Devils have failed to win in their last three Premier League games.
And fans are far from happy with the direction the team are going in, with Solskjaer receiving the blame.
Some fear the club lack direction.
One fan said on Twitter: “I’m mature enough to acknowledge and appreciate what Solskaer has done at this club, also smart enough to realise what’s going on and the direction we are heading.
“It’s never and will never be as easy as in or out. It doesn’t matter how you look at it, it’s not acceptable.”
Despite the fan unrest, Solskjaer’s job is safe for now.
The Red Devils have NO intention of sacking the club legend, SunSport revealed.
United see him as a long-term project, and are fully behind what he is trying to create as they fight for the Premier League title.
