MANCHESTER UNITED left-back Alex Telles has been spotted on crutches as he continues to recover from his ankle injury.
The 28-year-old has been ruled out of the start of the season after picking up the knock during training last month.
Telles, who joined from Porto last summer, suffered the blow in training at Pennyhill Park prior to the Red Devils’ 4-2 pre-season defeat against QPR.
And the Brazil international has now been snapped on crutches after leaving Victors Restaurant in Hale on Sunday evening.
The United defender was also pictured wearing a protective boot on his right foot after departing the establishment.
He will miss the Premier League clashes against Leeds, Southampton and Wolves this month with the player not expected to return until September.
Commenting on his injury last week, boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said: “Unfortunately, it’s worse news on Alex Telles than we hoped for.
“His ankle injury is a little bit more severe than we hoped and he’ll be out for a little spell at least, the whole of August I would think.
“That is football. We’ve got kids wanting to play of course.

“Brandon [Williams] has done well in the left-back position.”
Telles has vowed to come back stronger than ever after being ruled out of the opening three top-flight fixtures.
In a picture he posted on Instagram, he stated: “Nothing happens by chance, nothing comes to bring us down, but to make us evolve and mature.
“Thanks for everyone’s messages. You can be sure that I’ll come back stronger and even more focused.
“The change in me will be big. Wait for it.”
