MANCHESTER UNITED scored two worldies in their pre-season draw with Brentford at Old Trafford.
The wonder strikes came from Anthony Elanga and Andreas Pereira in the thrilling game which ended 2-2.
But it was Aaron Wan-Bissaka who took just 13 minutes to prove a point to Charlie Austin.
The QPR striker was outspoken with his criticism after seeing the United full-back first hand on Saturday.
He suggested the £50million former Crystal Palace man needs to be replaced – as he is not up to standard and does not create enough chances for his forwards.
Yet AWB fired over a cross from the right which was acrobatically turned in by Elanga early on here – much to the delight of a 30,000 crowd.
They were also on their feet when Pereira reminded everyone of his talent with a stunning 25-yard volley soon after the re-start.
But Brentford showed why they got promoted to the top flight last season by twice coming from behind to draw an entertaining game.
Earlier in the day, Austin had urged United to use any remaining money in their transfer kitty to sign England defender Kieran Trippier.
Wan-Bissaka can’t defend
Charlie Austin
The former Southampton man said: “Wan-Bissaka is not up to the [required] quality. We played them the other day, and I know it was only a pre-season friendly.
“But they need to go all out for Kieran Trippier. That’s who they’re crying out for.
“Wan-Bissaka can’t defend and his final ball is not what a centre-forward wants, it’s not what Edinson Cavani wants, it’s not what Marcus Rashford wants.”
It was exactly what Elanga wanted though as the pair linked up to put the Red Devils ahead early on.
The young Swede, 19, has impressed during pre-season as well as scoring against Wolves on the final day of last term’s Premier League.
The lead didn’t last long as Shandon Baptiste rifled a brilliant effort past Tom Heaton from the edge of the box to equalise.
But soon after the re-start a shot by the lively Jesse Lingard was blocked and Ethan Pinnock tried to head clear.
It fell perfectly for Pereira whose sensational volley clattered in off the underside of the bar.

The Brazilian spent last season on loan at Lazio and is expected to head out on loan again for the coming season – but this wasn’t a bad way to put himself in the shop window.
Bruno Fernandes was in the stands after returning to training on Monday – even he was off his seat as it was a goal the Portuguese maestro himself would have been proud of.
It did not prove to be enough however as the Bees levelled again when Diogo Dalot was caught out and Bryan Mbuemo cut in from the right to curl home.
