Crystal Palace open to Wilfried Zaha transfer exit this summer but Steve Parish will only sell winger at right price

STEVE PARISH says Crystal Palace will consider selling Wilfried Zaha – but only if the price is right.

Star forward Zaha, 28, is keen to move on from his boyhood club this summer to test himself at a higher level.

Eagles chairman Parish said: “We understand his position. It’s no secret that he would like to challenge himself.

“But it has to be right for the football club. He understands that as well.

“If those things collide then we will have to look at it. But right now, we are two days into the transfer window so it’s a bit early to talk about it.”

Tottenham and Everton are among the clubs linked with Zaha, who has been valued at around £40million.

And Arsenal, as well as Chelsea, are previously thought to have shown serious interest.

Zaha told The Face: “I feel like I can have another shot at the top teams, because my dream is to win things.

“I’m good enough to go out there and compete with the best.

“If the opportunity came, I wouldn’t turn it down, because I feel like I deserve it.”

Meanwhile, the Manchester Evening News suggest Zaha’s former club United will receive a 25 per-cent sell-on clause if Palace cash in on him.

But it’s also thought Palace first want to appoint a successor to outgoing manager Roy Hodgson.

Top names so far connected with the job include former Wolves chief Nuno Espirito Santo and ex-Chelsea manager Frank Lampard.
