GERMANY smashed seven past Latvia to give Joachim Low’s side the perfect warm-up to Euro 2020.
Doubtless tougher opponents will show up than the hapless Latvians, but goals from Gosens, Gundogan, Muller, Gnabry, Werner, Sane and an own goal will do confidence no harm.

REACTION FROM KAZAKEVICS
“We are disappointed in our performance and results.
“Clearly in the second half, the pressure from the opponents was not so great, but glad that the players came on the field quite bravely, using their minutes.”
REACTION FROM LOW
“We did a lot of things right today, we had discussed things in the past days and what needs to be improved. In the first half we had a lot of pace and speed, good pressing.
“Our conversion rate was much better, it was an issue in the past months and we made our lives difficult. We need to finish the chances we create.
“Now we need to increase the pace even more and keep the intensity over 90 minutes and we will be good for next week.”
REACTION FROM HAVERTZ
