Kasia had been dating the former Man City ace for around 15 months

The week before she died Boateng announced he had split from the stunning model and mother of one after 15 months together.

According to reports in Germany last night defender Boateng, 32, was being investigated over an alleged torn earlobe suffered by Kasia.

Images of the injury were shared on social media before being swiftly deleted just before Kasia was found in her Berlin apartment.

The Munich prosecutor’s office said they were investigating an allegation of willful bodily harm against Kasia which happened in October 2019.

Initially the investigation was dropped last June but Anne Leiding, from the prosecutor’s office, said: “The proceedings were resumed on February 10, 2021, because we received new information as part of the death investigation in Berlin that could give indications of a possible continuation of the proceedings.

“The investigation is not over yet.”

German news outlet Bild revealed that Kasia had been involved in a car accident in the footballer’s Mini on January 5, resulting in the vehicle being written off.

When they split, Jerome said it was time to “draw a line” and “apologise to everyone I’ve hurt”, including his ex-girlfriend Rebecca and their children.

Polish-born Kasia – who had a tattoo with the word ‘Jerome’ on her torso – responded by saying she had ended the relationship because of the World Cup winner’s “lies and constant infidelity”.

Kasia’s cryptic last Instagram post said: “Now is where you draw the line.
Enough.”

She also publicly branded the footballer “the devil” and promised to “speak up” and “fight back”, it has been reported.

Boateng told German newspaper Bild that Kasia had allegedly “destroyed” his previous relationship and blackmailed him.

He said: “Kasia became my girlfriend by destroying the relationship with my ex-girlfriend Rebecca and my family and blackmailed me.

“So I decided to stay with Kasia and try to make it work.”

An autopsy at the Institute for Forensic Medicine at Charité Berlin has revealed no evidence of third-party involvement.

She was found dead on the sixth birtgday of her son Noah through another relationship.

Last night there was no initial response from Boateng, who played for City in 2010-11.

You’re Not Alone

EVERY 90 minutes in the UK a life is lost to suicide.

It doesn’t discriminate, touching the lives of people in every corner of society – from the homeless and unemployed to builders and doctors, reality stars and footballers.

It’s the biggest killer of people under the age of 35, more deadly than cancer and car crashes.

And men are three times more likely to take their own life than women.

Yet it’s rarely spoken of, a taboo that threatens to continue its deadly rampage unless we all stop and take notice, now.

That is why The Sun launched the You’re Not Alone campaign.

The aim is that by sharing practical advice, raising awareness and breaking down the barriers people face when talking about their mental health, we can all do our bit to help save lives.

Let’s all vow to ask for help when we need it, and listen out for others… You’re Not Alone.
