Both teams have already qualified for the knockout stage after breezing through Group G.

But Ronaldo, 33, will certainly be looking to leave his mark at the Nou Camp and will be No1 public villain following his nine years with fierce rivals Real Madrid.

The contest will also set up a sensational reunion with old foe Lionel Messi.

With the video doing the rounds online, fans couldn’t resist joking that the world’s best player was back in Spain.

One said: “Juventus have arrived Barcelona ahead of their UCL game. Cristiano Ronaldo is currently the best player in Spain.”

Another added: “Cristiano Ronaldo has landed in Barcelona which means Leo Messi is the 2nd best player in Barca.”

Fans greeted Ronaldo with his iconic ‘siuuu’ shout which often rings around the stadium after he scores.

Messi and Ronaldo have played against each other 35 times with Messi winning six more, scoring 22 times, three greater than Ronaldo.

It will be their first meeting in two years and Barcelona boss Ronald Koeman is relishing seeing two of the greats going up against each other once again.

He said: “It’s fantastic that these two players have been so long at this top level in the world.

“They are the best players, in my opinion, in the last 10-15 years. Being successful all this time is incredible.

“It’s a great compliment to those players.

“They are different, but they have incredible stats about scoring goals, hat-tricks, about winning prizes.

“It’s not nice to say who is better because both are incredible, I admire both players because they gave us so many nice evenings with great goals, with great titles.”
