NEYMAR will only sign a new contract at Paris Saint-Germain if they sign Lionel Messi in 2021, according to reports.
The Brazilian star, 28, quit Barcelona in 2017 for a world-record £198million to escape from Messi’s shadow.

Messi has long been the main man at the Nou Camp and Neymar wanted to finally be given the chance to be the No1.
But Neymar has time and time again admitted he made a mistake, even saying he wanted to return ‘home’ to Barcelona in the summer of 2019.
He and Messi remain in regular contact to this day, three years on from his Barca departure.
Now PSG are hoping to tie-down Neymar to a new deal to keep him and Kylian Mbappe together amid talk BOTH forwards could be off to Spain.
Mbappe has been linked with a move to Real Madrid next summer.
But now, Mundo Deportivo have claimed Neymar will only sign on the dotted line if Messi joins him in Paris.
Messi has been locked in a high-profile drama at Barcelona this year.
The Argentine legend, 33, was expected to leave the club in the summer after a gargantuan fall-out with Nou Camp chiefs.

Interim Barcelona president Carles Tusquets has sensationally revealed he wishes he HAD sold Messi in the summer, reigniting the feud.
Messi recently admitted he hates the fact he is always the scapegoat for any Barcelona failing.
And now Manchester City are in pole position to sign the superstar next year.
However, PSG could be convinced to battle Pep Guardiola and Co for Messi next summer in a bid to keep Neymar sweet.
Messi is out of contract at Barcelona in June 2021 and it’s highly unlikely he will sign fresh terms unless dozens of bridges are rebuilt at the Nou Camp.
While Messi would be a free signing for PSG, they will have to spend a huge amount on wages, with the Argentine earning around £900,000 a week at Barca.

That could mean PSG would be forced to offload Mbappe in order to afford to keep Neymar AND sign Messi.
And the Ligue 1 champions will have to make a decision quickly, too.
As soon as January 1 comes around, Messi will be free to speak to other clubs and negotiate pre-contract terms.
With Neymar desperate to play with Messi again, Messi looking for a new challenge and Mbappe a boyhood Real Madrid fan, PSG may realise their best chance of continued success is by moving Mbappe on.
But losing one of the world’s best strikers so young to take on a by then 34 year old would be a bitter pill to swallow for the club.
