NBA basketball star Robinson was knocked out on his boxing debut

The 36-year-old was dropped three times during his crushing defeat to YouTube sensation Paul, 23, on Saturday night.

But 50 Cent was quick to poke fun by tweeting a meme of a KO’d Robinson replacing the silhouette of Jerry West on the NBA logo.

The American rapper captioned the post: “Damn Cuz get the strap! LOL!

However, the public trolling could further upset Mayweather – who has insisted Robinson should be supported during this time.

The undefeated boxer has been at loggerheads with 50 Cent since 2012, having previously been great friends.

And Mayweather has taken to Instagram to blast people to making fun of Robinson for stepping inside the ropes.

He wrote: “Nate, I’m proud of you and I will always stand behind all my brothers. I will never kick my brother when he’s down.

“It’s ok for people to voice their opinions on social media, but no black athletes or black entertainers, especially black NBA players should make a mockery out of you.

“We are supposed to all stand with each other through the good, bad and ugly.

“I’m here to uplift you and let you know we all love you and congratulate you for just making an effort.

“SIDENOTE: The times I’ve had issues with another brother is when they came at me first. I was just defending myself.”

Robinson took to Instagram to reassure fans the he was well.

He wrote: “Thank you everyone for all the well wishes, I’m OK.”
