Violet left to start a new job in Canada when son Lennox was growing up
It will chart the rise of Lewis from ‘rebel’ kid to one of boxing’s greatest and the last ever undisputed heavyweight champion.
SunSport can present an exclusive trailer for the new film, telling how it all started for the 55-year-old.
Lewis was born in London in 1965 and raised by his mother Violet, admitting to only seeing his father Carlton once when he was a child.
At the age of nine Violet decided to move to Canada for work, and Lewis was left in England for a period while his mum settled.

In the documentary he speaks of feeling ‘abandoned’ after ‘they took me away from my ma’.
He eventually moved over to Ontario to reunite with his mum and enrolled at the Kitchener Police Headquarters boxing gym to stay out of trouble.
The documentary features Lewis’ rise to the Canada Olympic team where he won gold by defeating a certain Riddick Bowe in the final at the 1988 Olympics.
The two would remain heavyweight rivals in the pro game – although shockingly never met in the ring.

Lewis’ shocking 2001 KO loss to Hasim Rahman is featured in what goes down as one of heavyweight boxing’s biggest ever shocks.
But Lewis triumphed in the rematch, and as the film shows, all roads led to Mike Tyson.
The two boxing behemoths fought in June 2002 with Lewis securing a stunning eight-round KO.
Unfortunately Tyson was past his devastating best and boxing fans were left wondering what might have been had they fought years earlier.
Lewis also lifts the lid on his infamous press conference brawl with Tyson which involved biting and a punch up.
Lennox: The Untold Story is released on digital from November 13, own on DVD November 16.
