SON HEUNG-MIN is set for a bumper new £200,000-a-week contract at Tottenham, according to reports.
It follows Spurs boss Jose Mourinho calling for the club to give the South Korean, 28, a new deal and tie the rest of his career to the North Londoners.

Son, who already has scored nine goals in eight games this season, is currently thought to be on £150,000-a-week.
He has 60 goals in 119 starts in the Premier League – having joined the club from Bayer Leverkusen in 2015 for £22million.
Striker Son’s new deal is set to earn him £52m over five years, tying him to the club until 2025.
His current contract is set to run out in 2023.
It puts the Korean in line with the club’s top earner Harry Kane, outside of Gareth Bale’s loan mega deal.
Spurs chief Daniel Levy wants to move early after watching stars Christian Eriksen and Jan Vertonghen wind down their contracts.
Belgium defender Vertonghen left for nothing to join Benfica, while Eriksen moved to Inter Milan last January for a fraction of his market value.
Son and Kane have created one of the most successful striker partnerships in Premier League history with their goals and assists for one another.
They are third in the all-time list.
Football Insider say Levy has offered the bumper deal and Son should sign it soon.
Son’s appeal to the Asian market has made Spurs even more popular than Manchester United in the Far East – and the biggest money-spinner in that part of the world.
Mourinho was desperate for Tottenham to get Son to commit his future -and finally get what he deserves after three stunning seasons.
The Portuguese, preparing for his side’s clash at Burnley on Monday, demanded a new deal for the Asian.
He said: “I would love that. It’s a very calm situation because Sonny has three more years of contract. But I wish, he deserves, and the club knows that.
“I believe that he would like to commit this feature to the club for more time.
“It is the club, and everybody in the club, being totally in love for this player and for this boy, and trying also to make him feel part of the furniture.
“It’s normal that the club tries to go from three to four or five or six.
“I believe that sooner or later they will, without any pressure, they will arrive into a decision.”
Son, who completed his national service in Korea during the Covid lockdown, hit four goals in one match earlier this season, away to Southampton.
The Korean clashed with skipper Hugo Lloris in one match last season, but is a huge favourite among the players and fans.
