MANCHESTER CITY 3-1 PORTO

Porto took the lead through a brilliant solo effort from Diaz, Man City equalised in the 20th minute from the spot after Sterling had been fouled by Pepe.

City took the lead in the 65th minute through a brilliant free kick from Gundongan, who curled the ball into the top left hand corner from around 20 yards.

Ferran Torres sealed the win after exchanging passes with Phil Foden as the two second half subs combined, the young Spaniard then cut inside from the left and thumped a shot from inside the 18 yard box into the top left hand corner.

Porto kept going till the end but it was a comfortable victory for City who start their Champions League campaign with three points.
